Fisher-Titus will host an education fair and drive-thru hiring event from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Aug. 24, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center, 272 Benedict Ave. in Norwalk.
Current employees and the general public are invited to the education fair to learn more about continuing their education and advancing their career in health care, according to a news release.
Over 15 schools will be present at the fair representing a variety of health care related education programs including nursing, business and more.
The education fair will take place in Jennings Auditorium at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
Members of the general public wishing to attend can park in Lot C and enter through the patient pavilion to be screened. Attendees are asked to wear a surgical mask while in the facility.
Fisher-Titus is hiring for a variety of open positions, both in clinical and non clinical areas of the health system, with many positions offering sign-on bonuses, the release said.
Individuals interested in any of the open positions can attend the drive-thru hiring event to learn more and apply.
Attendees should come prepared with resumes.
Hiring managers will conduct on-site interviews and offer on-the-spot contingent offers, the release said.
Fisher-Titus offers a benefits program to all employees who work 24 hours or more per week.
This includes medical and dental insurance including prescription coverage, wellness program, educational assistance and more.
The drive-thru hiring event will take place under the awning at the Patient Discharge Doors at Fisher-Titus Medical Center, between Patient Pavilion and Heart & Vascular entrances.
Attendees will be asked to remain in their car and wear a mask during the interview.
Individuals are asked to stay home and not attend either event if they are feeling under the weather.
Those unable to attend, but interested in employment at Fisher-Titus, are encouraged to apply online instead.
