Shoreline Adult Education announced open registration for their catalog of free academic programs and highly affordable enrichment classes. Those interested in enrolling can do so online at shorelineadulted.org or call their Branford office at (203) 488-5693.

Free Academic Programs: open to adult residents of Branford, Clinton, Guilford, and North Branford. Individuals outside of our four-town region may register for a small non-refundable fee of $50 per semester/$75 per year.

High School Diploma / GED® / Spanish GED®: three program options are available for adults interested in earning their high school diploma. Confidentiality and flexible class schedules are available to those enrolled in the National External Diploma Program (NEDP).

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages): non-English speakers from over 50 countries learn to better comprehend, speak, write and use English at work and in their daily lives. Courses for families with young and school-aged children, as well as digital literacy programs are also offered.

Citizenship Preparation: a comprehensive two-semester class designed to support adults in their pathway to U.S. citizenship

Affordable Enrichment Classes: Open to residents from any town, Shoreline Adult Education has partnered with local business owners and instructors to offer dozens of enrichment classes between September and December. Course topics include retirement planning, arts and crafts, music, dance, theatre, lectures on history, health and wellness, computers, foreign languages, and more.
